We believe that prayer changes things - don't you?
How prayersharers started:

Noah had vision!
This was the original email sent to start prayersharers, originally only as an "e-newsletter":
April 2005 Dear friends in Christ,
We are writing to you to tell you about an exciting vision that the Lord has laid on our hearts about prayer for each other in Spain. We have called it "prayersharers".
This will form a network of Christians prepared to pray for each other.
James 5 v 16 says, "Pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much"
We need your help to make this a success for God. We want your input as individuals and fellowships that you have contact with, sending the prayer needs of you and your contacts by e-mail. We want your commitment to receive a prayer letter, probably weekly, for prayer and possible distribution for others committed to pray. How you handle items received will be up to your own discretion.
The aim is to bring Christians together in prayer for Spain, to focus on prayer needs which would otherwise be unknown. This will help to spiritually unify God's work force in Spain through prayer.
Current local issues, important to you, can be swiftly taken to the Lord. We will aim for confidentiality and integrity over sensitive issues. As the organisers we may omit or edit details (especially names) to protect privacy.
We do not want gossip!
Our intention is that this will be as "e" based as possible to reduce, on our part, paperwork and expense. We need specific points for prayer, forthcoming events, people's concerns, healing, and anything else appropriate that we can all cover in prayer. We can pray for people in our communities, particularly, and make a difference with Christ. We would love to know your thoughts about this. Maybe you are already in a similar group. Email us with your first prayer requests.
This is especially for prayer needs in Spain.
We may or may not be in fellowships, but we are all part of the Body of Christ, and we wish to support each other through prayer.
We believe that prayer changes things, don't you?
