A place of worship with teaching from the Bible that
offers a sense of community for individuals and families
The living Water Church in Mojácar is an English-Speaking local Church that exists for the benefit of the community. Its full time pastor is David Hamilton who has been a fully accredited minister with “Assemblies of God, UK” for the past 14 years. Both he and his wife Pam came to Spain over four years ago as missionaries with World Ministries, the mission arm of A.O.G. UK.
The Living Water Church in Mojácar seeks to be relevant and flexible to all Christians regardless of denominational background. It is part of the “Fellowship of the King” network of churches, along with its sister church “Aguaviva Community Church” in Albox and several others in southern Spain. Church website link
As a fully registered church with the Ministerio de Justicia, the church offers:
A place of Christian worship that is open and informal.
Teaching from the Bible that will encourage and develop people in their relationship with God.
A sense of community for individuals and families.
A support structure for those in need, in particular the elderly.
We want people to know that the Church is a place where they can find support through prayer and practical help, a place where friendships and relationships are formed.
There are also the important occasions like baptisms, weddings, blessings and funerals with which the church is able to help.
Those who are part of Living Water Church, Mojácar testify to how a personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ has changed and fulfilled their lives, giving them purpose and hope for the future.
There can be no greater joy for Christians than to see others committing their lives to follow Christ and in so doing discovering a new life, free from condemnation, guilt and fear.
The Church meets every Sunday at 11am at the Hotel Virgen del Mar, Mojácar Playa (opposite the Red Cross car park).
The service is designed to give choice and be flexible for both residents and visitors alike.
In addition to a Sunday service, the Church meets in the week for prayer, bible study and fellowship.
In October the Church will also be running an Alpha Course, which provides basic Christian teaching for those who wish to find out what it means to be a Christian.
