We recently had a telephone call from a Christian lady who was contacting prayersharers for the very first time.
The Lord has put it on her heart to work together with the various Christian Fellowships, up and down the Mediterranean coast, to bring them together in greater unity for Christ, than they are at the moment.
Actually, we are sincerely sorry to say, many of the fellowships in Spain could not be further apart, and there are few who can claim to be innocent in this situation.
Please pray for Christian unity of those who truly belong to Christ in Spain.
In John Chapter 17 Jesus prayed for his disciples.
That shows what an important part of the Church we are to Him.
Verses 21-23
"that they may all be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that you sent Me. And the glory which you gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:
I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that you have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me"
A Christian in our area received these words from the Lord in 2007.
We have held on to them until we felt the time was right to publish
- and we believe that time is now.
“This is not about how righteous and good we as Christians are, and all the rest of mankind are in a sorry state.
We are egotistical, smug, self-satisfying and controlling.
Christians in (town mentioned edited) are in a sorry state.
If you are squirming - good!
If you think "that's not me" - think again.
Get out of your cosy little huddles and self congratulating modes.
What happened to:-
"My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you" John 15:12
Until we get ourselves sorted out, no way can we begin to reach others for God.
What a bad example we are setting.
Go and pray about your attitude and ask God's forgiveness and guidance.
Get back to living by the Bible's foundation.
Listen to God - NOT man.”
